9) SAKSAYWAMAN

This fortress-kind of town built by the Incan empire, was built, according to historians, to repel invading forces that came from the Cusco. What’s unique about this city, is that it was built using stones that fitted perfectly without using mortar or cement. Imagine a building material similar to lego, but built almost 2000 years ago! Scientists to this day still don’t know how they were able to achieve something like that.
