The Canadian performer won various Emmys with NBC sitcom Family Ties, which aired from 1982 to 1989. Fox turned into him into an icon when he played Marty McFly in 1985’s cult movie Back to the Future.

A long time later, Fox, who suffers from Parkinson, loaned his voice to films like Stuart Little and showed up in TV shows like Spin City, The Good Wife, Scrubs, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
